wholey dooley sandra, save those pennies and move to aust

vixxen, you can grow fruit veges in pots or at least some of them, strawberrys are good in hanging pots, and lettuce, cabbage, shallots, fruit trees, herbs, all sorts of things - unless of course she wont let you have pots of plants or even hanging pots

Nope no pots, hanging pots....nada!!!

Hi all, I am really lucky that my Mum pays for my TF each week. What a great Mum hey! She lost 15kgs earlier this year on TF and she was starting to worry about my weight, so she suggested I give it a go and she would pay for it. To be honest I could not afford it on my own - as I am not working at the moment and it already costs us a fortune to feed our family of four. I think if I were single it would work out cheaper than buying my lunch each day at work... It probably depends on individual circumstances as to whether people find it expensive or not.

Mini goal: Lose 5kg by 28/10/09 - Reward: NEW SWIMMERS + MANICURE (Goal Achieved 5.9kgs lost)

Mini goal: Lose 10kg by 16/12/09 - Reward: NEW CLOTHES + FACIAL

End goal: Lose 15kg by 03/02/10 - Reward: NEW CLOTHES + 1 HOUR MASSAGE

To make my own fibre I mix the following ingredients together, this makes a mix similar to the TF fibre, the only thing I leave out is the Red Clover. This will last me quite a few months.

2 packets Psyllium Husks (Coles or Woolies)

1 Packet Oat Bran (Health Food Store)

1 Packet Rice Bran (Health Food Store)

1 Packet Slippery Elm (Coles, Woolies or a Health Food Store)

Hey Sandy

Can I ask why you leave out the Red Clover??
and also does it taste like the TF fibre or better?

I leave out the Red Clover as I cannot find it

And yes it tastes very similar to TF fibre. Well I think actually the same.

I find it great in my slices such a Banana Bread, Apple Cinnamon Slice and my all time favourite, Carrot Cake

Definately - another option is to just eat more fibrous fruit and vege.  If our diets are varied we probably don't really need extra fibre :O)
