I don't get moody when I'm dieting, but have you considered perhaps that it's because of hormonal changes? Apparently there are a lot of women out there who go through a hormonal shift on TF. It hasn't really been explained that much that I've seen, but it does seem to be pretty common. It may take your body a little while to get used to the changes. The important thing is to recognise when you've gone over the top and apologise for it. That way it can't be held against you! Rofl.

I don't get moody until someone starts going "Can't you just cheat this once? Come on... We are out! Don't ruin a nice dinner out with a salad!" Then I get bitchy. "Do you want me to have monster thighs forever!? Hmm!? Do you like the fact I can't wear a bikini in public!??!"

Hey mountain maiden, yep taking the multivitamins and doing everything correctly...

Lol My mood snap was called for as someone was rude but I thought that under usual circumstances I wouldn't have got that heated and would have calmed down alot quicker...lol I think I could definitely milk bf for some pressies though, great idea hehe

I think download may be onto something with saying that it could be hormonal with the changes to diet and all, I will keep an eye on it as I haven't been that cranky for sometime lol

thanks guys

Hey butterflys, downloads right, hormones could be a factor

something to think about also, is when i gave up smoking, everyone thought i would be a cranky so and so (how polite did i put that?)

anyway... i wasnt cause i took  champex which allowed me to still be me, and just stop smoking

but thats getting off track

My doc was my mentor and he explained to me, that most people when they have a habit and they break it, the neurons (sp?) in the brain create havoc because they are being 'starved' (for want of a better word) of the habit they are use to and it takes a little while to adjust.

If you think about it in reverse though it might make more sense - like for eg - its true that choclate makes you feel better for an extra few mins almost instintly.  which is why so many people like eatting choclate when they are upset, or need a pick me up.  Now visualise not having that peice of choclate, and you really want it -- of course somethings got to give -- which could create the bad mood  if you didnt do something else (to keep the mind occupied)

I dont know if that makes sence or not, lol, and maybe someone else might make it a little clearer for you
