| Hi, I'm trying to make veggie patties that i can have for lunch but don't want to use up my protein serve. Are egg whites counted as protein serve or just the egg yolk?????

| found this.......does this help? if not call the 1800 612 644 number its there 24/7 Mally it is acceptable having egg whites for your protein serve, however it is not recommended to have this for your complete 120g protein serve. Although the white from egg does have greater protein content than the yolk, the energy content is much lower and to achieve adequate energy intake from a protein serve of egg whites, you will need a lot of egg whites. If you want just egg whites rather than whole eggs for your protein serve, we would recommend having 4 egg whites plus half a palm size protein serve from the other protein options. You can incorporate 4 egg whites as part of your omelet for breakfast, have your shake for morning tea with your fruit serve, and have another shake or soup for lunch with salad or veggies, fruit for afternoon tea and 60 grams of protein with salad or veggies for dinner. You can do this no more than twice per week. Please ensure each protein serve (including sachets) are had at least 2 hours apart. Doing this will ensure your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) stays at an optimum level and promote weight loss results. If you should have any further enquiries please do not hesitate to contact us.
