Pfffft totally......I live in Brissie and im not used to this weather even though I have been here since january....I lived down in the southern states all my life...I just cant get used to the muggyness.

All i have to do is walk to the mailbox and I am sweating like crazy, flies are all around me and I just feel out of breath cause the air is so thick and moist.

The person that suffers the most isnt me, but my son, I feel like because of the weather and my lack of wanting to go outside that I dont take him for walks etc. Maybe once or twice a week....and we dont have a backyard, only a pool. So he has no play area outside.

I think once I feel more confident and fitter in myself I wouldnt mind...but looking like a sweating hog outside to me is unattractive and I feel out of my comfort zone.

I tend to find its certain times of the day, like when kids get home from school,  that I want to wolf down stuff I shouldn't.  However, winter vs Summer, yes I definately want to eat more in winter.

Me giving it another go!!! Thanks Mally

Vixxsin I was the opposite in Brissie - I walked everywhere, I wanted to be in the sunshine and I wanted to eat fresh fruits and healthy 'cleansing' options.

When it's cold and miserable out what I really want is cheese on toast or a nice big piece of lasagne

Ohh I have eaten healthier since living up here, and I love all the tropical fruit I can get my hands on up here...but I live next to a creek and its bugs galore...I come back with bites all over me. Plus due to carrying this weight I find it hard to exercise without getting really bad sharp aches through my bones in my legs...and I also suffer really bad fluid retention so the heat makes this unbearable.

Also I dont like my arms and legs...so I am walking around in the heat with long sleeve tops on and pants...its like my own personal sauna....if I could walk around with a singlet top on and shorts I wouldnt be bothered by it.

LOL I look like an outsider...all pale and in winter clothes in the sweltering heat....and I see size 8 girls running around in lil shorts and sleeveless tops or just a bikini top without a drop of sweat on their forehead...THAT will be me one day...I hope

I dont like being couped up inside....I used to be the size 10 girl down at the beach everyday in Adelaide..all tan and toned...its depressing.

I HATE dieting in summer! It's the time of year that I want to have already lost weight so that I can enjoy going to the beach and wearing tighter clothing. I feel like I'm missing out on so much in summer that it really annoys me. If I start dieting in winter I can kind of hide my losses and suprise people come the warmer weather.
Not to mention the fact that summer means a cold beer and a bbq, both of which I find very difficult to enjoy when I'm dieting because I always feel guilty afterwards.

Nope, winter is definately the dieting season for me. I don't want icecream or lollies as much and I find it a lot easier to avoid social occasions that involve food because there just seems to be less of them in winter lol.
