Hey there,

Today I took my two doggies for a walk, we power walked for 1 whole hour  Yes thats right Mountain Maiden, i finally took the boys for a walk    yes they were naughty and im seriously thinking of the obedience training but all in all it was great to get out and about! and being dragged by two dogs has to be better than sitting on the couch watching movies all day which was the original plan....

anyhoo, giood luck guys and stay motivated 

Here to enjoy life and a new lifestyle 

1st mini goal - lose 5kgs by 10th November

Reward for reaching 5kgs - Get my nails done

2nd mini goal - lose another 5kgs by 10th December

Reward for reaching 10kgs - Get my hair done

Final goal - 11.3kgs by 29th December

Reward for final goal - new outfit

Woot I can post in here for the first time EVER....

Thats right, I did exercise!!!!!!!!!

*SHOCK.....HORROR*

I did 30 minutes on the treadmill doing a brisk walk with the distance being 2.89kms....I felt soooo good afterwards, it was really invigorating
I am hoping that by doing exercise this week it will help me pull in bigger numbers at weight loss...im getting really disheartened by my lack of results.

whoo ohooo madzy!! way to go, if no one else is using the twister you can check to see how many steps you have done in a day or a week

glad your feeling better danielle Maybe you mght need to take one boy in the morn and the other in the evening lol, they sound like double trouble cheeky buggers, i bet they were just excited to be out an about

Omg vixxsen are you sure you arent coming down with danielles flu lol, Sooo proud of you!! It looks like there wont be any tomato or pumpkin soup for you today

I did another 30 minutes today ....gosh I feel so good and I dont feel as bloated with fluid retention either...and its making it easier to drink my 2lt a day.

whooo hooo vixxsen, you sound like you might be starting to enjoy it

Whooo hoooo, i have finished painting the bulk part of my house today - its a georgous colour called pale lilac quarter colour (dulux paint) http://www.dulux.com.au/colour/colour-wall (colour 393), i tell you what, it is so much easier painting the outside of a house with an airless gun!!! I did have to use the brush for some bits but thats only because i am pedantic. and i have yet to do the pretty bits around the windows and doors etc - I dont know if i should go bright and bold around the windows and the door, and soft and gentle lol, i really like the idea of the bright and bold, which would make the entrance be blue, pink and green lol, or the soft would be like a slate colour and a gentle undecided other colour lol

lol i think you are enjoying it too much, dont be thinking its a novelty or it will be lol

Im starting the c25k challange today (couch to 5 klm) , this is going to be interesting lol, for those of you who are interested, the c25k thread has the link on it for the program - so if i dont come in tonight with a report, well, call the paramedics lol

Well yesterday I went for a walk for an hour and 20 minutes - and it was HOT!  I came home & my fingers were all swollen up - yuck!  But I felt great for having gone and done the walk.

But it was an achievement because in the past I would never have done any exercise (well at all really), but I wouldn't even have gone for a brief walk if it was over 25 degrees - yes I am a big sook!

Tonight I am planning on going to the gym (contours) which is entirely dependent on my hubby getting home in time for me to get there by 7 - so the alternative is another walk.

whooo hooo marzipan!!!

ohh gosh, i havent posted in here for a while, but ohhh boy since last monday i have been flat out -  i have done 8 hours of high energy dancing since monday with another 3 to do on sunday, and i have done 4 x2 half hour c25k run/walks  and boy, i have done hours and hours and hours of passive walking without even thinking of getting on any machines or doing any of the dvds i have at home

Now the weekend is here, and i have another 3 hours of dancing to do over the weekend, AND i still have loads of walking to do, and i have costumes to make wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh which i have to fit in with the 4 kids who decided to come down with the 18hour vomiting bug (the other one had it yesterday)

I can tell you though, the fluid i was holding in my legs etc has gone down a lot - its almost non existant now, as i am flushing it out constintly -- keep up the fluids whil you have fluid - it does help, but i am also wondering if strawberries have had something to do with it, as they were on special this week and i have been eatting a few of them as a fruit serving

Aside from doing my daily housework a little more briskly than usual, I haven't really done much exercise since starting TF. Then at midday on Thursday I suddenly decided to walk to a nursery I *thought* was a kilometre away. Turned out to be 3.5 kilometres away. It also turned out to be significantly hotter than I had stupidly figured, so I did kind of suffer.

Because I weigh-in on Wednesdays, I thought that any excess fluid retention would dissipate before then. Is that wrong? Is it better in general to have a big exercise day right after our weigh-ins, and then take it easy a little?
