Hi Everyone!!!

I am Rachel and I am 36yo. This is my second go at TF.  I had started to have success first time round earlier this year. I had lost 10Kgs but then it all fell apart in May as my husband of nearly 15 years decided he did want to be married any more and so I feel into the trap of comfort eating, so not only did I put back on my 10Kgs I also added a few extra and I now weigh 101.9Kg. OMG I have never been over 100kg before in my life, I am horrified.

This is why I am back!!!  After 6 months of moping, misery and self pity I have finally picked myself off the floor and went back to TF last Saturday (14th Nov) and started again.  This week is important for me to be the restart of my life as Thursday the 19th would have been my 15th Wedding Anniversary so I thought no better time to start again than this week.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Time to make this time of year a happier one than the misery I was dwelling on.

I have three beautiful kids aged 10, 8 and 4 and I need to be healthy and happy for them as well as myself as I need to set the example for them.  They need to see mum getting on with her life in different ways so that they can too.

So here I go again, back on the programme and back on the forum for support and advice and also inspiration from all you men and women out there who are having success in their weight loss journeys.

So far so good I started back on the shakes on Sunday and this is day 3 of my new life and have not slipped I only hope I can keep it up.

First goal: Get under 100Kgs

Second Goal: Lose first 5Kgs

Wish me luck and good luck to everyone else on the programme, I look forward to hearing from you all!!!!!

Rachel

Gd luck with this and i hope u can achieve what u want from this. You have been through a major upheval so dont kick urself- pick urself up, shake it off and just forge forward.... u fall off, get back on. I should talk! haha. I lost 30kg in 06 and kept it off for 12mths and then when moved interstate to Darwin, i put on 14kg in 2yrs... and then lost my brother in a car crash.. in aug this year and found myself NOT EATING but when i did, i didnt feel full. And diet drinks is my down fall... 2ltr easily....I am 82kg so i have 17kg to go! Ohhh its hard and all i will need to do for my motivation is look at my brothers picture..... find something that will provide motivation for U.... it might be a trip away or pair of pants u want to wear again.... whatever it, is use it. Its gotta help at some level. YES your husband left BUT u are still you... you will be you forever and you have to be happy with YOU..... if u make no one else hapy but yourself, then u are successful!! Does that make sense....... ten hopefully you will be able to be happy again and make a new life for yourself.... over time!!

Gd luck mate and chin up... we can provide u the support u need if u need it!

Dee

There is a thread here relating to models and stuff.... virtual model or smthing (i cant remember) virtualmodel.com     try this... u will have to save the two images to ur harddrive and then go to edit ur signatureand put it above or below ur ticker. Ensure the cursor has a space between the two (pictures and ticker). I hope this helps.... iv only done it once so not an expert but it was fidley but got there in the end....
