I am having a very hard time in doing my TF diet..I am working so hard to stick with it while I have to prepare meals for my partner.  He is slim build and so he always had dessert, chocolate, ice-cream etc when he is at home.. U know, it made me feel very depress when u see someone eating those things in front of u everyday. *I did try to walk away when he eats and then he said I made him feel bad of eating those things @_@*

Anyone had the same problem ? How to solve it ? Or any advise can give me ??

My husband is a jockey and he doesnt have to worry about his weight either..he can lose 3 kilos in one day lol when he has too just by sweating ...go figure..so i know what you are going through, I also have 6 kids who have all their treats too ..but i am not interested in them i have my own i have the ice cream we are allowed to have twice a week i love strawberries and you can have 20 i think for a serve of fruit , i have mango also which i love and grapes..I make up jelly and jelly snakes and jelly marsmallows..unlimted of these a day..i love snacking on veges ...so i guess what i am saying is that you have to make better choices with food, dont think about what you cant have, think what i can have and how can i make this yummy..hope this helps...KIMxx

Thanks Kimba,  can i ask how u make the jelly marsmallow ?

I am also snacking a bit, but mostly vegies on unlimited list. Cause I know my problem is I always feel like to eat even i am not hungry.. I am hoping to lose another 6kgs by Xmas and eat normal for those two days  then back on it until I reach my target.  I am just hoping to lose 8kg more in total, if i can lose 6kg by Xmas, hopefully the rest of the 2kg is not that hard to kick off.

The best suggestion I can give you is to focus on what you CAN have rather than what you can't have.  Save a fruit serve for the evening time so when your partner has his junk food (and remind yourself, it is junk - do you really want it, or do you want to achieve your goals?) so anyway, when your partner starts eating junk food, get yourself some fruit, dollop some yoghurt on it and enjoy.  You can also have unlimited diet jelly.  Sometimes I even snack on chopped celery with a teeny bit of light Philly, or I make chips out of eggplant if I'm needing something savoury.  It's all about finding new treats you can enjoy

Thanks Nikki, maybe I should cut up some celery for snack as well

I was having cherry tomato & cucumber as snack for weeks... getting a bit tired of it now.. Let me try celery tomorrow.. thanks for your advise..

No worries, trust me I know how hard it can be when you have a skinny partner that can eat till the cows come home it can make dieting extremely hard.

Yes, also sometimes I really put the meat on the scale to weight around 120g. And he goes angry and said "why can't just enjoy it ? Its only around 30g extra".. But if I break the rule once, I will do it again and again and that will be a waste of money to buy those shakes... and can never achieve my goal...

lol seems most of us have skinny partners eh!

Unfortunately that's the way of the world and there will always be foods around us that aren't so good for our butts.

Nikki's advice of good snacks is spot on.  Fill yourself on other yummies and you'll get ther.e

Eat some jelly when he's eating his desert

And dont let him sabotage you!

Its HARD enough to lose weight already without him making it harder.

Depends what kind of guy he is.. you could sit down and explain to him how much this means to you and how its okay that he eats junk but you just need to not be in the room when he does and he doesn't need to feel guilty. Men, thinking everything is about them .

Or just laugh it off.. when he says something just say 'chill baby, chill'.

If he's asking you why you can't 'just enjoy it' then put it this way -- if you weigh the meat and know you're having your exact portion size and not blowing your diet, you can enjoy it more
