ohh rachy

Did you try it???

i hate the pumpkin soup i have been threatening to send mine to vixxsen just to get rid of them. I think its an aquired taste, and i dont acquire it at all lol.  I dont particularly like the tomato either, and i am not trying the pea and ham either

Unfortunetly i dont even like the pumpkin soup made up in things either The only thing i havent tried is turning them into a pumpkin scone -- i even tried giving the other pumpkin things i made to the kids and they wouldnt eat them either -- now thats scarey

I don't drink the soups (excepting the occasional chicken once), but I found that if you mix the soup powder with a small amount of cold water, mix it in properly, and then add hot water, you will have no lumps!! Promise

Pumpkin scones are the only way I can eat the pumpkin soup!!   Having said that I've only done them once.  I have around 6 or so satchets that I tried to return .... not aware at that stage that you couldn't ... still sitting in the cupboard - might have to make more scones!!!

Any other ideas gratefully accepted

I didnt like it at first, got half way through, started to aquire a taste for it, but by the end I was over it lol.. It wasnt too bad, but the lumps in it made it yucky lol...

Have you tried blending it with pumpkin?

Steam a little pumpkin then blend it all together in a blender.. Makes it nice and thick and very very tasty..

I find all the soups tend to get lumpy... If you either continue to stir it while you pour the water in.. OR.. pit in little bits at a time and stir through.. Both ideas work...

lol you can call me anything except late for tea (unless its pumpkin soup lol - i will pass on that lol)

I make the soups up like cup a soups, i boil the jug, and pour a little water in and mix it up, then i pour the rest of the water, but then i ususally add veges that i have precooked or reheated, so i put the whole lot in the microwave and zap if.

Would you like my packs of pumpkin soup so you can get it right ????

lol

just thought i would ask

I'm not a fan of lumpy soups - no matter what the flavour.

i measure my hot water into my mug & then pour into a small mixing bowl - use a whisk to stir it rather than a spoon or a fork - and it turns out much better - then pour it back into my mug.  of course you end up with one more thing to wash but I'd prefer than than lumpy soup!

hope this helps!
