Hi Skylark,

Welcome to the forums and your weightloss journey.

Congratulations on your weightloss.

A loss of 4.8 kgs in two weeks is awesome. Keep up with your good work and enthusiasm .

Do you lose any centimeters?

You are certainly on track to reach your first mini goal so keep that motivation going.

All the best for your third weigh in.

Hi There!!!

Some really awesome results!!!!!!!!!

With your weight loss goals you have listed why not join our group in the "Weight Loss Challenge" forum  where we are in the "Race to the 80's Challenge" where we are supporting and racing each other to get our weight into the 80's some are over 100kgs still and some like me are in the 90's (Last weigh in I was 96.3kg) so it is a bit of fun and motivation to help keep on track and there is suck a lovely bunch of people on that thread to talk to.  We poke fun at each other but we also support each other when we need it.  They are a great bunch of people on that thread.

So good luck on your weight loss journey and hope to see you around the forum!!

Hey everyone,

I just had another pleasing weigh-in with a loss of 1.4kgs this week I was expecting the losses to slow down after the first few weeks - not that I am complaining about losing 1.4kgs!! It's a really liberating feeling, hehe.

I'm still sticking to the diet as rigidly as possible, and I am absolutely loving it. This doesn't even feel like a diet!!

I am absolutely loving the dinners, I have bought all of the cook books, and just adore all of the recipes. I can never decide on which one I like the best, so I now just flick the book open to random pages and pick out meals and hope for the best - never had a bad one yet - plus I'm really learning to cook.. I've found a new love, cooking and presenting food! Ahaha being 21 years old and living at home with a Mum that loves to cook, really restricts the cooking experience!!

Physically and emotionally I feel so much better, I feel like I am on a constant 'high' of emotions, everything is really going well. I can 'feel' the weightloss now, with 8.8kgs gone, I am really starting to notice the lack of excess weight (and the baggy t-shirts and pants). I am moving quicker and able to maintain a good hour of exercise without a lot of complaint. I am gunning for the 80kgs by May this year, that will give me just over 4 months to shift 11kgs, I'm confident that I can make it happen

Anyway, this is my update for the week! I hope that you're all doing well and feeling fantastic.

Love, peace and monkey grease!!

- Skylark

Just a quick update as to my weight loss over the last two weeks, I've lost another (1.8kg and 900grams) 2.7 kgs, bringing my total weightloss to 12.7kgs.

I'm really, truly, starting to notice a difference now - it's wonderful.

I hope you're all having successful and rewarding weeks!

Weighed in again on Tuesday! I've lost a further 1.2kgs At this rate I'll be at 95kgs before my goal date, which makes me feel ecstatic!

I really hope that I can keep up these awesome numbers, I'd be happy though, even if they dropped to 500g a week losses! A loss is a loss, and when it comes to losing weight, every single little bit counts towards a healthier and happier future.

I've started up at gym, and I'm working out 6 days a week.. 3 days of strength training and 6 days of cardio (effectively). Every lunch break I've found myself wandering around outside (generally for a quick 3km walk). I'm feeling better mentally, and less ashamed of the weight I have to lose, and more focused on where I want to be in 6 months time.

It's finding that motivation to strive for results, and like so many others on these forums, I've found it, and I'm working towards it!

Thanks guys once again for all of your amazing stories throughout these forums.

- Skylark.

Hi Skylark,

Your weightloss is truly inspiring. I read your first post and eveything you were saying was relating to me, the lack of energy first and then feeling really good. I am only on Day 6 and I am feeling so good at the moment (the first 2 days were not so good). I am looking forward to my first weigh in on Monday as I am already starting to notice a difference in clothes. I look forward to seeing your progress and keep up the fantastic work
