| CHALLENGE IS FINISHED - BUT WE ARE ALL ON HERE STILL TO KEEP EACH OTHER MOTIVATED AS WE MADE SUCH GOOD FRIENDS - ANYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN IN. GREAT BUNCH OF LADIES HERE!!! I have 40kg to lose and find that the forum is a great way to keep you motivated. This is my second (or is it third) attempt at Tony Ferguson (TF). 2 years ago, I lost a total of 25 kg and felt fabulous. I was down to 91kg and a size 14/16. This was by no means my goal weight (80kg) but I felt so good. Unfortunately I forgot that it is a life change, not just a temporary diet, so the kg's piled on again. At the moment I am a size 20-22 again. Now that I am ready to make the commitment again and because I had such good and quick results last time, I had no hesitation in going back to TF. I find the simple but strict structure is what I need to get through each day. Too many choices for me and I go off the tracks. I have just started back again and made it through my first day yesterday without any mishaps, and today is also going well. I have 40 kg to lose and I will be taking one day at a time. I got up at 7am and went for a 20min walk yesterday with a friend, and again this morning. Felt good. Didn't walk a marathon or anything, but it was moving my butt!! Yes, it might seem like a long slog ahead, but from my previous experience losing the weight, it was well worth it. Your self-esteem soars, everything you try on looks good and you just have a bounce in your step. 40kg may take 40 weeks, and it can be daunting to look that far ahead and it may seem too hard a task to begin with, but you have to start some day and why put it off. I tried TF this time last year as well and didn't last more than 2 days and now I could kick myself because if I had stuck to it I would be at the finish line now. I need to change my mindset to "Eat to live, not live to eat!!!" The forum was an integral part of my weight loss in 2008. Advice, suggestions and support from people here on the forum can help tremendously. A weightloss challenge is also a fantastic way to keep motivated and I have been involved in so many in the past that I thought I would start one this time. This is a 10 week challenge starting from Monday 31st January to 11th April (just in time for Easter). So, anyone interested in joining me, please list : - your start weight
- your pledge (the amount of weight you think you can lose in 10 weeks)
Then each week, PM me with your weigh in for that week. I will create a graph and update everyone's information. Look foward to losing weight with you all.

| Welcome aboard Wendy. You and I are at the same starting weight so it will be good to have someone sharing the same experiences. You have done so well already. I remember it took about 20kg loss last time for people to really notice and comment. After that it really shows with every 10kg extra. Keep up the good work.

| Hi there Muggles! I will join you on your journey if you will have me? for I myself still have a long road ahead. I weigh-in on Thursdays so my first weigh-in for this challenge will be on the 3 Feb. At the moment I weigh 115.5Kg and I pledge 10kg. I find that some days are easy and other days I need to think about what I put into my mouth! and on those days if possible I go onto the forum's and read everybody's feedback and advice. Best Regards

Welcome aboard Cosmic Creeper. The more the merrier. I hope to get as much help from this as everyone else. It is not an easy task but there are a lot of us out there needing a shoulder to lean on.

I'd also like to join. I have about 61kg's to lose in total (hopefully by the end of this year).
At my last weigh in 2 weeks ago my weight was 146.5kg. I'm weighing in tomorrow and will let you know my current weight.
I would be very happy to get in the 130kg range, so I will pledge to lose 10kg's in the next 10 weeks.

Starting weight: 15 August 2010: 150.7
First goal: to break the 150 kg barrier - reached 20/11/2010
Second goal: 145 kg Completed 29 Jan 2011
Third Goal: Get rid of ERR forever
Fourth Goal: get back to 145 kg and keep it off
Final Goal: 85kg's
Why I Want To get to 85kg's:
I want to wear clothes from the normal size range. I want to stop looking like a whale and feeling like a failure. I want to fit into the normal seating. I want to be normal and beautiful and wear trendy clothes that look good on me. I want to succeed with losing weight and keeping it off for once in my life. I want to travel to Europe next year and actually fit in the airplane seat.
