| I'm so glad I read this post - it was so helpful! It's good to understand the reasoning behind the whole 2 litre thing. I've never been a big drinker of water, sometimes I'd go all day without a single glass, and somehow I was never thirsty. But now I know that's one of the reasons why I've always had such problems with my weight! I still have problems getting through 2 litres of water a day though. I'm in the kind of job where you can't just excuse yourself and run off the the bathroom every time you need to go. It means I have to try and drink almost all of my water before and after work and hardly any in between. I know it's not meant to be done like that, but I don't really have much of a choice!

| I never used to drink much water but since one of my uncles expired from kidney problems, I have started drinking water a lot. It seems my uncle drank very little water which was one of the major causes of the kidney failure.

| Water is indispensable for our body. We cannot have enough of it. It surely flushes out the toxins and keeps the skin glowing.

Very sorry if this has been mentioned already. But I have a quick question.
In regards to drinking 2 ltrs of water a day, does this include
250 mls of water in each shake/soup
Also I am doing fairly heavy exercise 5 days a week and drink about 1 litre of water just working out.
Should I be drinking 2 liters on top of this?

| Hi everyone, I have been on the Tony Ferguson program for 8 weeks now, and feeling fantastic. I don't have much weight to lose, but the healthy eating and increased water consumption seems to be doing wonders for my energy levels and positive perceptions. One question I have with regard to water consumption, is that I often feel bloated during the day. I am drinking around the 2L/day as recommended, but feel perhaps I may be drinking it too quickly, hence the bloated feeling... Many thanks.
