| i just can't get over this ... is it just me or is it very early? Went to David Jones yesterday and they have the full xmas display out with all the trees/baubles and decorations for sale. It seems to me that it was only the other day the boxing day sales were on!! This is going to make the lead up to xmas VERY long for children if they see all this out now they will think its not long till Christmas. I just cannot get my head around it!! Mindy xxx
STARTED THE PLAN 29/4/06 - GOAL WEIGHT 29/10/06 1 shake a day plan from end Aug - end October START WEIGHT 94.1KG, GOAL WEIGHT 74.1 KG acheived currently 75.5 kg and want to get back to 74.1 kg START SIZE 18 - NOW SIZE 12 - current goal to get back to goal weight and stay under 75 kg for LIFE!

In my old neighbourhood, people started putting up their lights etc in OCTOBER  and when I worked in retail we'd take the Christmas stuff down in early Jan and start putting up Easter eggs!!!
Focusing on just 5kg at a time. I think I can, I think I can...Slow and steady wins the race!

| Hi Mindy, They seem to bring out those dam decorations out earlier each year im sure of that, I was in woolworths the other day and said to my son (batista) gee xmas stuff already oh man where has the year gone............ so your not imagining this it is happening everywhere and why so early god knows why as you said it makes it so long for the young ones.......maybe we need to protest and tell them november is close enough to bring them out or something...

I'm hearing you Mindy! I was in DJ's today and the xmas stuff was everywhere, but I guess as there is less than 15 weeks to go to xmas now they've got to start flogging off the stuff! OMG, did I just say less than 15 weeks to xmas - yikes!

| I agree. I mean I know they have to retail and don't object to the christmas decos being out on sale in a special area, but do they have to decorate the stores?? Also, I love Christmas to bits and hate anything which takes the magic out of the season, inlcuding it going on to long. What really gets to me is the move from Christmas to Easter. I actually saw hot cross buns on sale BEFORE New Years day after last Christmas - I mean really?? Maybe if we had Halloween and Thanksgiving like in USA we would not get Christmas so early, but then we would have two more FOOD holidays to deal with?? What's worse?
